About me 
Camilla Fransrud born ain Oslo in 1974 is a Norwegian Contemporary painter . She is self- taught innthis artform. She moved to Trondheim in her early twenties and has now lived here for 30 years . Her love for art has always been with here and in sixth form college, in her art classes she felt at home among the brushes ,easeles and colors . Her art teacher was the well known Erlingur Jonsson, an Icelandic sculptur and he became her mentor and friend

She started to paint proffesional in 2017 and she paints with acrylic in both and abstract and figurative form
The seasidelandscape is close to her heart and she is living in the countryside with the sea nearby. Her creative process starts in the beautiful landscape that surrounds her studio .
Here she can hear the wind in the trees, the birds and seagulls and feel the breeze from the ocean. She is strongly connected to nature and she seeks to breeak through the barrier that seperate us from nature  and try to exceed the conventional boundaries between nature and art in her abstract landscape paintings.Her works are evocative with a dreamful soft touch and she is inviting the viewer  to explore their own emotions and interpretations.
To her it is important to paint with the heart , to be one with the painting and she works intuitively with colors and derives inspiration from the light you seek from within and nature itself . Her career is dottesd with numerous art exhibitions ,awards and publications.
